Nothing screams sultry like combination of red and black. It's dark, sexy and a wink at naughty. I wanted to try something different than the usual french or half-moon manicure but still have a sleek look, so I went with points. To create this look I applied one coat of Color Club, Master Of Disguise. Then I applied 2 coats of China Glaze, Lubu heels. I let that dry fully; I'm talking hours. I than used tape to mask out the point shape. I applied 1 coat of CND, Firefly to get the red shape opaque over the black base. After that I applied 1 think coat of China Glaze, Ruby Pumps. After that was all decently dry, a few minutes, I carefully removed the tap and coated each nail with Seche Vite, Fast Dry Top Coat. Yes, it WAS a labor of love but I really loved the way they turned out.

The top pic is obviously BEFORE the points were added. Lubu Heels is such an awesome color even on it's own. Will you try a point manicure?
