Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Pure Opal Dazzles and Delights

I'm not going to lie. I have a ridiculous makeup collection by normal girl standards. When I do shop for makeup I really try to find unique products that I haven't seen other places. In fact, its better if I don't browse to much because I fall in love with sparkly things pretty quickly. When I saw the Tarina Tarantino Sparklicity Pure Opal I new it was unique enough to be welcomed into my collection.

So here's the deal. I tried a ton of different methods trying to capture this amazing stuff's essence and I simply could not. It's a magical opalescent super sparkly loose powder that would closly resemble crushed fairy wings, if such thing existed. I swatched it below on top of Two Faced Glitter Glue (do you all want a review on that as well?)

Available at Sephora, $17

Overall thoughts, a ton more photos including swatch photo...

The texture is super fine and lightweight. It's not quite a glitter or a pigment. Its kind of close to a MAC reflects. It's sheer and when applied adds a bright flash of green/gold/purple shine. Seriously the finish is kind of amazing. It can be used on eyes, cheeks and lips. Since it's got so many different tones running through it I feel like it would compliment all skintones and can be used in any season. It has New Years Eve party written all of it. I mean, not LITERALLY, but it's so sparkly that it would make for great special occasion party makeup.

Overall, I am really loving this stuff. I want to put all over the place! My best tip for using it would be to pat a bit of a white cream shadow in the inner tearduct area of the eyes then apply TT SP Opal (like that abreev?) on top for high impact shine. Second application is to pat a tiny bit on the cupids bow and then on the middle your bottom lip when wearing a bright lipstick for drama!

Seriously, this swatch does not capture this stuff's magical powers. Are you into it?
