Today I'm kicking off a series of summer beauty picks that highlight some of my favorite products. More skin showing means a little more upkeep than during those colder months. This first series contains great drug store picks of basic summer products. Each come in at around $10 and under a piece making the thrifty girls rejoice!

Vaseline Aloe Vera Gel
Keeping skin glowing and healthy looking for summer is a must. Time to put away those heavy lotions and opt for something a little fresher. Aloe Vera has been prized for centuries for it's skin soothing properties. When kept in the fridge it makes for a refreshing post-sun rejuvinater. Not to mention, this stuff makes your skin look amazingly fresh and healthy without any sparkles or glitter.

Ped Egg
This little baby really does wonders on callused feet. When used directly after your shower, when your skin is softest, it diminishes heal calluses in a flash. It also comes with a buffer pad on the bottom to smooth out any rough edges. Don't be scared of it's cheese-greater like appearance; iIt's safe and won't tear your feet up unless you really go overboard on the sloughing.

Good Spin Pins
Whether you're rocking a top knot, bun or just need to keep your tresses out of your face on the beach, spin pins have got you covered. The ingenius design allows for quick styling with ease. Simply pull your hair together in a bun, twist one pin in (like a screw) and then then the other to interlock the coils and hold your hair in place. I do not know what I would do without these lovelies! I had to buy multiples to keep sets a home, in purse and at the office.

What are some of your best drug store summer beauty picks?
